Art Links

Visual Arts Lessons
This page is where I store tutorials and lessons from my highschool Visual Arts classes.

The RPG Gallery
The RPG Gallery, a nifty site that hosts some of my art, along with fantasy bigwigs like Michael Whaelen and Stephanie Pui-Mun Law.

The Pen & Paper Gallery
A collection of artists who have been published in RPG material.

Larry Elmore
Larry is well known to anyone in the fantasy roleplaying field. His art was my earliest inspiration, and I still learn a thing or two each time I study his work.

William O'Conner
Another artist I have learned a lot from. It was his interior work in Ars Magica projects that got me hooked on the game, which led to my illustrating later books in the series.

Todd Lockwood
Todd's artwork makes my head implode with sheer jealousy. He does, among other things, the best dragons I've ever seen.

Adi Granov
A great digital artist. I learned a great deal from studying his work along with some of the excellent tutorials on his site.

Bob Ross
The bushy-haired host of the 'Joy of Painting' show. I learned a lot about painting landscapes by watching his tapes.

Daniel Chou
Fantasy Artwork by a very talented former student of mine.

Role-Playing Links

Threshold RPG
Threshold is a high fantasy, real-time, multi-player, online role playing game. I am the feature artist for the Threshold RPG. It is a terrific site with a rich community and tons of work put into the game world. Worth a look.

Ars Magica--Atlas Games
One of my favourite RPGs with the best magic system out there. My illustrations appear in about a dozen or so 4th ed. Ars Magica books, published by Atlas Games.

Ars Magica House Rules
Here are a series of House Rules from my Thorendon saga, still hosted on an old ISP. They are very well thought out (he said modestly) and some are used pretty widely in ArM games.
