December, 2003 -- The Commission -- His name is Feohtar Argilion, and he's an Elven cleric of Corellon Larethian. He wears golden scale mail with no helmet (I was hoping you could model it slightly after the armor the Elves wore at Helm's Deep in Two Towers, as I'm a huge fan of the movies) and carries a light wooden shield painted silver and emblazoned with the sigil of Corellon Larethian, which is also on the chestplate of his armor. When he's not fighting for Good (and he can be a bit of a martyr), he can be found, armor in a pile nearby and weapons closer, sitting under a tree or on a rock sketching something that's caught his fancy.

I'm thinking of something like this, Feo looking off into the distance and pondering, as if he is memorizing something to draw later.

(right) Another possibility...the staring into the distance wasn't working for me with his equipment, so this is a different idea I had.

Ok, after a lot of tinkering with the armour, I think this will be the sketch I'm going to run with.

(right) Here's the figure and rough background. I still need to work on the face.

Here's a view of the face I'd like to go ahead with.

"The face needs to be slightly more feminine, and maybe a little younger-looking, and I had this idea of his hair as this soft, poofy 'cloud' of hair waving around his face."

(right) Here's a 'cuter' version, is it closer to what you had in mind?

"The lips could maybe be a little thinner, but otherwise it's perfect."

Here's what everything looks like put together.

"That's great! Looks just like I'd imagined the Pretty-Pretty to look! Thanks so much!"

(right) I've transfered the sketch and started to add in values.

More progress. Will be done by the end of the weekend.
